BIOGRAPHY

Country/Americana artist Mason Lively released his sophomore self-titled album on March 19th, 2021, Co-produced by Wade Bowen. With its lead single “Something ‘Bout A Southern Girl” doing big numbers and gaining heavy praise, this new record is Lively’s most impactful album yet.
Born in Victoria, Texas, but raised just outside of town in the rural community of Inez, Mason Lively grew up in a country music atmosphere. Though he enjoyed and was exposed to many types of music, he would listen to artists like Willie Nelson and Merle Haggard to name a few. Growing up, while also being influenced by Pop, Soul, Blues, and Classic Rock, Mason started to take interest and study the songwriting of artists from his home state’s music scene like Robert Earl Keen, Pat Green, and many more. As a result, when he started playing guitar at age 14, Mason claims that song-writing "sort of snuck up on him" not long after that. Soon after, with the release of his 2018 album “Stronger Ties”, Lively and his band hit the road, touring all over Texas and the regional south.
Lively has a sound that’s simple yet complex, easy-feeling but gritty and weathered, inspiring yet heartbreaking. It’s no stretch to say that there’s a song for every emotion in Mason Lively’s catalog.
With a wildfire like fanbase that’s growing, thousands of shows under his belt, and the support of his fellow artists and mentors...It's safe to say that Mason Lively is going places in Country Music and beyond!
